Making Friends

We have three historical industries here in the state of Nevada. Tourism, Gambling and XXX. Each one fails the test of resiliency when faced with sustained economic adversity or national emergencies like pandemics. Agriculture in this state is not considered a job creator nor a revenue driver despite growing 385,000 acres of (in my opinion) the world's finest alfalfa hay. Dynamics of past years surrounding the "revenue opportunities anchored to cannabidiol (CBD) were powerful motivators for growers and farmers however market conditions fell short of providing a market ready economy. I have realized that this is not a ten second sprint to build an industrial hemp fiber ecosystem but rather a marathon of five years. It must be built on making friends based on trust, transparency, and loyalty to demonstrating a mutual respect for each stakeholder.
